sakura_daikonDuring Arashi no Waku Waku Gakkou 2014; for a part of his lesson, Ohno read letters he had written to each member, centering around the theme: "The moment our friendship deepened".
Here is the letter he read to Sho.
"The moment when our friendship deepened, Ohno Satoshi.
Do you still remember, Sho-kun? It's already 10 years ago, when MatsuJun, Sho-kun and I performed together for the musical play "West Side Story" ne. Because MatsuJun played the bad guy, he had his own separate room. As for Sho-kun and I, we shared the same room the whole time.
But how strange it was. The catering menu that we ordered when we were in the dressing room; for some reason were always overlapping. The food I wanted to eat is what Sho-kun wanted to eat, the food that we both wanted to eat were the same ones. So the two of us always ordered the same menu. The stage play was held through for one month, so we both practically ate the same things for that month! Moreover, since the stage play was performed twice a day, I was with Sho-kun from morning till 9 in the evening for the whole month!
I took showers; borrowed shampoo and body soap from Sho-kun, so that's the same too! We also played Destiny's Child (songs) which was popular at the time non-stop, so the music that we listened to was the same too!
For everything to be the same, to be together for that long it's possible that we might get sick of each other; but strangely enough, that didn't happen. I even thought that if it's Sho-kun, I can live together with him. It was as if we were siblings. Now, even though it became something to laugh about, but that one month of experience had deepened our friendship.
Sho-kun and the rest of the members, thank you for always being with me. I hope for your support from now on too.
May Arashi stay friends forever!"
Here is the letter he read to Sho.
"嵐の友情が深まったあの時、大野智。
覚えていますか、翔くん。今から１０年ほど前、松潤と翔くんと僕の３人でウエスト・サイド・ストーリーのミュージカルに出演しましたね。松潤は敵役だったので、別の部屋だったんです。翔くんと僕は２人でずっと同じ楽屋でした。
でも、不思議だったなあ。楽屋で頼む出前のメニューが何故かいつも、かぶるんです。僕が食べたいものが翔くんが食べたいもので、翔くんが食べたいものが僕の食べたいものと一緒！だからいつでも２人で同じメニューを頼んでいました。公演が１ヶ月に渡って行われたので、１ヶ月ほとんど食べるものが、一緒！ しかも１日２公演とかあったので朝から夜の９時まで１ヶ月間ずっと翔くんと一緒！
シャワーを浴びるんですが、翔くんからシャンプーやボディーソープを借りていたので、それも一緒。楽屋では当時はやっていたディスティニー・チャイルドをかけっぱなしにしていたのです。なので、聴く音楽も一緒。
何から何まで一緒で、これだけ一緒にいたら嫌になることもありそうだけど、でも、不思議とそういう気持ちにならなくて、翔くんとなら一緒に暮らせるなあ、と思いました。まるで兄弟みたいでした。今では笑い話ですが、あの１ヶ月を経験して僕らの友情は深まりました。 翔くん、そしてメンバーの皆、いつもどんなときも一緒にいてくれてありがとう。これからもよろしくおねがいします。
