Here's another entry that also touched on the birthday gift Sho received from Ohno; even though they were supposed to talk about the souvenirs Ohno bought for the members. They also reminisced about the aspirations they had and talked about in the past interview 15 years ago.

ニューヨークへ行っていた大野メンバーのお土産に何を買った？

大野：最初ね、お土産買いに入ったお店で、ニノに合うなってＴシャツを見つけたんだよね。で、次また違うお店に行って、サルが描いてある面白いＴシャツを見つけて〝あ、これは相葉ちゃんだな〟って
櫻井：なるほど（笑）。
大野：で、３軒目。
櫻井：全部違うお店で買ったんだ。知らなかった。
大野：そう。３軒目でね、サングラスがバーッと描かれたクッションが目に飛び込んできて。〝あ、これ、翔くんだ〟って思ったの。ビビッときたの。
櫻井：ありがとうございます。かわいいクッションだよね。かわいいけど自分じゃなかなか買わない感じ。でも、もらうとうれしいものってあるじゃん。まさにそんなクッション。
大野：で、スーツケースにしまおうとしたら、そのクッションがぴったり収まったんだよね（笑）。あれホントにぴったりだった。
櫻井：理にかなってる（笑）。大野さんには、誕生日プレゼントに釣り道具もいただきましたよね。
大野：そうだね～
櫻井：誕生日に、プレゼント何が欲しい？ってメールくれたから、俺からリクエストしたんだよね。釣りに行ったとき、どんなもの着たらいいかも分からなかったから。長靴とか、どんなものがいいのかなって。
大野：長靴はね、俺が履いてるのがちょっと重かったの。だから軽いのがいいなって思って。軽くてあったかい長靴にした。
櫻井：ありがとうございます！
大野：あと帽子ね。あれね、俺とおそろいだから。
櫻井：お～。ってうことはかなり機能的な帽子ってことですね。
大野：いい帽子だよ。
櫻井：一緒に並んで釣りしたら、遠目でどっちがどっちだか分からなくなるっていうね（笑）。

Ohno who went to New York; what did he buy for the members as souvenirs?

O: The first shop I went to buy souvenir, I found a t-shirt that would be perfect for Nino. Then, I went to a different shop and found an interesting t-shirt with monkey drawn on it and thought, "Ah, this is Aiba-chan, I guess."
S: I see. xD
O: Then, the third shop.
S: So all were bought from different shops.I didn't know that.
O: Yup. At the third shop, the sight of cushion with arrays of sunglasses drawn on it caught my eyes. "Ah, this is Sho-kun!". The thought came in a snap.
S: Thank you so much. It's a cute cushion ne. Even though It's cute, it's something I most probably won't be buying for myself. But there are things that makes you happy when you receive it from someone else, right? That cushion is certainly one of those things.
O: Then, when I packed it in my suitcase, that cushion fit just nicely xD. It really did fit so well.
S: It's justified xD. I also received fishing gears as birthday present from Ohno-san ne.
O: Yeah, that's right~
S: On my birthday, I received an e-mail (from Ohno) asking what do I want as present, so it was a request made by me. Since I didn't know what to wear when I go fishing. I was wondering what would be good; things like boots and such.
O: Boots, the pair I'm wearing is rather heavy. That's why I thought lighter ones would be better. So I chose boots that are warm and lightweight.
S: Thank you so much!
O: And then, there's also a cap. That one, you see; it's matching with mine.
S: Oohh~ that means the cap is quite a functional one, ne.
O: It's a good cap.
S: If we're fishing side by side, it would be hard to tell who is who from afar ne. xD

今月は創刊２０周年記念号ということで嵐の過去の誌面を見ながらトーク。１５年前に語っていた「未来の夢」とは？

櫻井：何なに？〝いつか５人の番組を持って、コントをやりたい〟だって？すごいねー。夢かなえたね！！
大野：しかも、深夜でやりたいって書いてあるよ。『真夜中の嵐』（’０１～’０２年）に始まって、そこから『嵐の宿題くん』（’０６～’１０年共に日本テレビ系）まで。コントもいっぱいやれたじゃん。
櫻井：ええ、金粉まみれにも、パンダにもなりました。すごいなバッチリ夢かなえてる。
大野：デビュー当時から〝深夜枠でやりたい〟って、なんか俺ららしい（笑）。
櫻井：やる気あるんだか、ないんだかよくわかんないな（笑）。
大野：『紅白に出たい』とかは、言ってなかったんだね。
櫻井：夢にも思ってないころだ（笑）。
大野：バラエティーでの夢はかなって良かった。
櫻井：そんなこと言ってたんだ俺。うん、何かうれしいな！
大野：えらい！
櫻井：当時の彼に言ってあげたいですよ。夢かなうよって。きっと喜ぶでしょう。
大野：アハハハハ（笑）。
櫻井：俺〝深夜番組で大野智を演出したい〟とも言ってるよ。何でこんなこと言ったんだろ？大野智の魅力を世に伝えたいって思ったのかな、このころ。
大野：２人で『まごまご嵐』（’０５～’０７年フジ系）で時代劇やったじゃん。
櫻井：あれ、コントじゃない（笑）。で、大野さんはどんな夢語ってるんだ…。（過去記事を読む）
大野：どうせ何も考えてないでしょ。
櫻井：いや、すごく前向きですよ。英語を勉強したい、できれば一般教養として漢字も身に付けたいと。
大野：あ～！
櫻井：漢検やったじゃん。
大野：よかった。ちゃんとやってる。
櫻井：英語はどうですか。
大野：いまだにね、海外に行くたびに英語できたらって思うよ。
櫻井：じゃ、年に１回ぐらいは毎年、今も思ってるんですね（笑）。
大野：うん。でも、いまだに全然分かんない（笑）。

As this month is the 20th anniversary issue since the magazine was first published; this is a conversation that took place while they're reading article on Arashi from the past. What was their 'dream for the future' 15 years ago?

S: Eh, what's this? I said, "I hope that one day the 5 of us will have our own tv show and I wanna do comedy skit"? How awesome~ It came true, didn't it!!
O: What's more; it's written here that you wanted to do the late night ones. Starting from "Mayonaka no Arashi" (2001-2002) and from then we did it till "Arashi no Shukudai-kun" (2006-2010; both were from NTV). We get to do lots of skits too.
S: Yeah... Gotten smeared with gold dust, and I have also turned into panda. Amazing, that dream perfectly came true.
O: To say that "I wanna do late night shows" since the time we just debuted, somehow that's very typical for us xD.
S: I'm not very sure whether we were really motivated or not. xD
O: We never said anything about wanting to appear on Kouhaku(Red and White Singing Contest on NHK) or anything of that sort, ne.
S: That was back when we didn't even dream about it. xD
O: It's great that the dream of doing variety shows came true.
S: Did I really say these things? Somehow it makes me happy!
O: Well done!
S: I want to tell the boy I was back then. I wanna tell him, "Your dream came true.". I'm sure he'll be delighted, don't you think so too?
O: Ahahahaha!
S: See, I also said that I wanted to "produce and present Satoshi Ohno in the late night show". I wonder why I said such a thing? I wonder if at this time, I had wanted to convey Satoshi Ohno's charms to the public?
O: The two of us did the historical drama in "Mago mago Arashi" (2005-2007; Fuji TV), didn't we.
S: That one, is not a comedy skit xD. So now, what kind of dreams Ohno-san talked about... (reading the past articles)
O: Surely I didn't come up with anything, right?
S: Nope, yours were quite proactive. You said you wanted to study English; if it's possible you'd want to learn kanji for general studies.
O: Ah~!
S: You already did the kanji test!
O: I'm glad. I did that properly.
S: How about English?
O: Until this very day, everytime I travel abroad I would think, "If only I'm good in English..."
S: That means, till now at least once a year you'll ponder about it, right. xD
O: Yeah. But even now I'm completely clueless. xD
